ABOUT THE IMPACT AWARDS
The Impact Awards recognizes the outstanding performance and achievements of the members and affiliates of the TriState Minority Supplier Development Council (TSMSDC) during the past year. This virtual occasion reaffirms our belief in, and support of the future of our youth by awarding scholarships to deserving high school graduating students. Since its inception in 1994, the coveted awards program has become the council’s most anticipated event to businesses and students who have excelled in service and individual achievement.
Although virtual, a great deal of effort has gone into presenting this edition of the Impact Awards, as we continue to celebrate service and volunteerism, and the raising of funds for the worthwhile programs of TSMSDC, and its Education Foundation.
ABOUT THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The TMSDC Education Foundation was officially inaugurated in 1994. Its mission is to provide assistance and support of at-risk graduating high school students who are unable to continue their education beyond high school. Including this year’s recipients, the Education Foundation has awarded $2.1M in scholarship assistance to 377 high school students. These articulate and academically talented students matriculate to colleges and universities throughout the country.
